Hi there! I’m Wendy!

Thank you so much for visiting my Website! It’s a working progress whilst I juggle my small family and find time to do what I love which is creating beautiful cakes for my amazing customers!

I just wanted to introduce myself and put a face to Wendy’s Home Cakery! Over the years I often brought custom cakes for my children and loved ones. However, a bad experience of being let down on the day for an important birthday cake made me think that I wanted to bake my own cakes for my family. I decided to challenge myself to different designs and I realised how much I enjoyed the process!

I decided to enrol at college to develop my culinary skills & knowledge, passing Patisserie & Confectionary qualification. I then continued my education by completing a Professional Cookery qualification. I am starting L3 Professional Cookery in September 2026 to continue my journey and keep developing my skills and learn new ones. 

I registered Wendy’s Home Cakery in December 2024 receiving a 5 hygiene rating and officially beginning my little busines. 

I specialise in creating stunning celebration cakes tailored to your special event. Whether it's a birthday, anniversary or wedding, my cakes are crafted with love, precision, and the finest ingredients. I will work closely with you to design a cake that matches your theme and personal style, ensuring your celebration is memorable. From classic to contemporary designs, my cakes will delight your guests and make your occasion truly special.
